There will be a nice large update which will inform you all of my general misbehavings from the last couple of weeks.

geeks and stuff.

Hello! Just a quick blog today, to say that last night was Bex's party which was Geeks vs Tribals themed. As you can see in the picture above. I clearly went as a geek! It was great fun but unfortunately I had to leave early because I had to be up early this morning to venture into London and start at Columbia Records!

So yeah, got in at about 2.30 and had to get up at 6.40! I was SO tired on the train. It was so hard to keep awake, I was terrified that I would miss my stop. I did however manage to kee awake!

Columbia today was awesome. I was working for a guy called James who was cool. I pretty much spent the day putting AC/DC DVD's and singles into jiffy bags and sticking address labels onto them. Just short of 300 I believe. haha.

Since my last time working at Columbia the offices have moved to Kensington High Street. They are awesome! Really spaced out and stuff!

I am now going to attempt to make my packed lunch for tomorrow and get into bed and turn out the lights before midnight. That is 30 minutes from now. Personally, I don't think I will manage.

bye! x

The last couple of days.

The last couple of days have been pretty good! I forgot to say that on Tuesday morning Hannah W came up to my house and made us all pancakes for breakfast!

Anyway!

We'll take off where I left things. Wednesday.

So Ross came up with his X-Box 360 and then we set off to buy a new game. I did indeed manage to talk Ross into wanting MX vs ATV. So first we went to the Tesco at Tenterden, and to our inconvenience, they didn't have it. They didn't actually have any X-Box 360 games which was pretty gay. This meant going to Ashford. So off we set! Firstly we went to the massive Tesco and had a look in there. They didn't have it. Then we went to the not so big Tesco, and although they had a larger selection of games, they did not have it. We were starting to get a bit worried at this point. After that we went to Asda, who didn't have it. In Asda I had this brainwave of an idea that Blockbusters would still be open. And it was! We went to Blockbusters, with 10 minutes before it closed, and they had 1 copy to rent, and one copy that was pre-owned - WIN!

We rushed back to my house and got playing. It was awesome. We got about 30% through the game and decided to call it a night, at about 2.45am. I think.

Thursday day was pretty friggin boring. I did nothing! It was just one of those days basically. Up until about 10.30pm when Jack and Will came round. Then we all did nothing together. Literally! haha. This took its toll at about 2.30am when we decided we were hungry. So we all went to Tesco and got LOADS of fresh pasta and sauces. The front seat was ditermined with a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors which me and Will LOVE playing. Unfortunately I lost, for both the journey there, and on the way home. We got back to mine about an hour later somehow, and cooked our food. It was delish! We went to bed nice and early at about 4.30, completely sober for a change.

We woke up at a nice 2pm on Friday. We didn't do an awful lot, just watched TV. A bit later we went to Will's house and I played with his super awesome kitten 'Kato'. It's such a cool kitten, its like a snow leopard. Quality. After this we went back to my house and watched a bit more TV. Then Jack went to work and Will went to his other house in Tenterden. After they went I had a shower, and then got a lift into Tenterden with my Dad and went to Will's house. At Will's I played on his new guitar and his loop station, which was well fun! After I got bored of that we went to Tesco and got a crate of Stella. When we got back to Will's his dad made a quality curry and we drank our Stella's before going to The Vine with Jack. After the Vine we went back to Will's with new additions Ed, Jodie and Jack and watched a film that Will loves called "House Party". It was ok, I was pretty drunk, and couldn't really concentrate on it.

I stayed at Will's last night and got up this morning at 11am because I had to meet my Dad in town and go to the train station with him to sort out a season ticket for my travels this coming week to Columbia. After we got that we popped into my Nana's house and saw her for a bit which was nice! We fed her Peacock some peanuts (unsalted - which are horrible).

We then came back to my house and turned the lounge into the DAN.ED.WILL PRACTICE STUDIOS before Ed and Will got to mine and we practiced our songs for our gig at Smarden Charter Hall next week. We even learn't a cover! You will find out what it is if you come along and see us next saturday! After the practice we had a few photos taken of us. I'll show you them soon, If I like them.

This evening I have watched King Kong and that is about it! Tomorrow I have my last shift at The Chequers as next Sunday I am planning to move back to Southampton!

Moodie's visit.

Yesterday my good friend from university James Moodie came along to visit me in at my humble abode in Kent. It was cool. He got to mine at about 3.30. Just before this Jack had come round and we started watching a pirate copy of the film "Space Chimps" (courtesy of Lou). We didn't really give it much attention to be honest, and I have no idea what the film was even about, apart from the obvious. (chimps go up to space).

So anyway, Moodie got to mine and me, Jack and Moodie just hung around in my house and we watched TV and made food. Jack had to go at 6 to a band practice in Eastbourne, and as Jack left Edward Li and William Quick turned up on my door. They had been to London because will had collected a guitar off someone, which he had purchased via the world wide web. It's an extremly nice Fender 1972 Custom Telecaster Reissue. I dont have a picture, but I will get one soon and upload it on here for all of you too see! We then did a bit more hanging out, which consisted of watching TV basically, before me and Moodie went to Tesco with Ross to get some pop! I decided on the 3ltr Tesco Premium Cider. Moodie got some Stella's and Ross went with the Smirn Off Ice and Apple Bacardi. We also got Dom a 3ltr bad boy and 8 cans of Stella for Will. We then headed back to my house, collected Hannah on the way, and got ON IT! Hannah had a bottle of Rose, but put on an appauling performance, and didn't even manage half of it.

So we just sat around in the kitchen really, chatting and drinking. Dom turned up at about 11.30 I think, and proceeded to catch up with the rest of us. I had already ploughed my way through about 1.5ltrs of my 3ltrs!

It wasn't a very eventful evening, just a fun one!

I woke up this morning to notice that Dom had already gone, I think he had a driving lesson at 8am, I bet that was a giggle!

So today me, Hannah, Ed and Will decided to show Moodie around Tenterden! It was wicked. First of all we went to Tesco because I needed to get some bread. In Tesco we decided it would be a good idea to go for a pub lunch at The Chequers where I work, so we went back to High Halden, only to learn that the pub had stopped serving food. FAIL.

So anyway, we decided to go back to Tenterden having realised we were not going to get food from anywhere else in my village. We ended up going to The Lemon Tree which is a nice Cafe/Tea Rooms located on the high street. Moodie kindly brought me a Egg Mayo baguette which came with some really nice new potatos. Hannah, Will and Moodie all had Chicken Tikka baguettes. I found it particularly amusing how Will pronounced Tikka "Ticker". I had a good lol at that. Oh yeh, and Ed had a roast dinner.

There were quite a few wasps hanging around where we were sat, but luckily we were sat with Will, the wasp slayer - fearless of wasps. He litterally killed any wasp that came within sight of him, by just like, I donno, either clapping them, or just squashing them. WITH HIS BARE HANDS! I could never do that. haha.

After out meal I decided it would be a good idea to show Moodie the steam engine railway station. So we went down there and had a look at trains, and had our photo taken by a sign said said Tenterden. I dont have the photo yet, but I will post it up on here, along with the photo of Will's new guitar, soon!

We then set back home. The final thing I wanted to show 'the lads' was how you could see the new wind farm that is getting put up near Camber Sands, from High Halden! So I took them to the church and we walked through the graveyard and out the back into the field, where the prime viewing spot was. I was fully aware of EXACTLY where to go because I had gone for a walk to see this amazing sight, by my self, on Monday.

We then came back home and Ed, Will and Moodie went home. I am now sat here in my lounge fairly bored, but its ok, because Ross is coming up here in a second with his x-box. YESSS! We are going to go to Tesco and buy a new game to play all night! I really really want him to get MX vs ATV because I played on a demo of it and it was awesome!

A new start.

Hello!

So the last time I wrote on this blog was on Saturday 29th March. That is pretty much 5 months ago. A LOT of stuff has happened in the last 5 months. Way to much stuff to write about. haha. I mean, thats like roughly 150 days! I couldn't possibly write up all of that. It would just be boring, and I mean, I know I have a lot of free time but I'm pretty sure I can think of better things to do.

All I am going to say is that
  •  Summer has been completely awesome.
  • I've been to Jamaica, and met that famous laughing tour guide from Youtube. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MorR04iLtMw)
  • A lot of alcohol has been consumed.
  • and Reading Festival was AMAZING. I snuck back stage and watched The Killers from the side stage.
Of course, one of the main tasks this summer was to get a job and pay off my massive overdraft..... well of course that didn't happen! The only work i've had is 3 hours a week at my local pub, which has been awesome, but hasn't payed off my overdraft in the slightest! Oh well, all is good, I'm just going to have to get a job when I go back to Southampton.

As the title of this post states. This blog is a new, fresh start to my blog, which is why I haven't really spoken much about previous events. I am simply going to start updating it again, from now, when I feel certain events should need to be 'blogged' haha.

There isn't really a great deal of events coming up for me to publish. Tomorrow Mr James Moodie is coming to visit me from Pourtsmouth, which is awesome, although I have no idea where I am going to take him or what I am going to show him! Next week I am going back to work at Columbia records, so that should be cool. I'm soon to move into my first house in southampton, and I'm sure there will be massive amounts of parties going on there. But yeh, not many other things really!

Anyway, lets hope that I manage to keep this blog up to date again!

It has to be said that my friend Richard Picot has inspired me to update my blog again. He moved to LA yesterday and has started a blog to keep everyone up to date with all of his adventures, which is going to be 10000000% more interesting than my blog. You can read that HERE.
