Yesterday my good friend from university James Moodie came along to visit me in at my humble abode in Kent. It was cool. He got to mine at about 3.30. Just before this Jack had come round and we started watching a pirate copy of the film "Space Chimps" (courtesy of Lou). We didn't really give it much attention to be honest, and I have no idea what the film was even about, apart from the obvious. (chimps go up to space).
So anyway, Moodie got to mine and me, Jack and Moodie just hung around in my house and we watched TV and made food. Jack had to go at 6 to a band practice in Eastbourne, and as Jack left Edward Li and William Quick turned up on my door. They had been to London because will had collected a guitar off someone, which he had purchased via the world wide web. It's an extremly nice Fender 1972 Custom Telecaster Reissue. I dont have a picture, but I will get one soon and upload it on here for all of you too see! We then did a bit more hanging out, which consisted of watching TV basically, before me and Moodie went to Tesco with Ross to get some pop! I decided on the 3ltr Tesco Premium Cider. Moodie got some Stella's and Ross went with the Smirn Off Ice and Apple Bacardi. We also got Dom a 3ltr bad boy and 8 cans of Stella for Will. We then headed back to my house, collected Hannah on the way, and got ON IT! Hannah had a bottle of Rose, but put on an appauling performance, and didn't even manage half of it.
So we just sat around in the kitchen really, chatting and drinking. Dom turned up at about 11.30 I think, and proceeded to catch up with the rest of us. I had already ploughed my way through about 1.5ltrs of my 3ltrs!
It wasn't a very eventful evening, just a fun one!
I woke up this morning to notice that Dom had already gone, I think he had a driving lesson at 8am, I bet that was a giggle!
So today me, Hannah, Ed and Will decided to show Moodie around Tenterden! It was wicked. First of all we went to Tesco because I needed to get some bread. In Tesco we decided it would be a good idea to go for a pub lunch at The Chequers where I work, so we went back to High Halden, only to learn that the pub had stopped serving food. FAIL.
So anyway, we decided to go back to Tenterden having realised we were not going to get food from anywhere else in my village. We ended up going to The Lemon Tree which is a nice Cafe/Tea Rooms located on the high street. Moodie kindly brought me a Egg Mayo baguette which came with some really nice new potatos. Hannah, Will and Moodie all had Chicken Tikka baguettes. I found it particularly amusing how Will pronounced Tikka "Ticker". I had a good lol at that. Oh yeh, and Ed had a roast dinner.
There were quite a few wasps hanging around where we were sat, but luckily we were sat with Will, the wasp slayer - fearless of wasps. He litterally killed any wasp that came within sight of him, by just like, I donno, either clapping them, or just squashing them. WITH HIS BARE HANDS! I could never do that. haha.
After out meal I decided it would be a good idea to show Moodie the steam engine railway station. So we went down there and had a look at trains, and had our photo taken by a sign said said Tenterden. I dont have the photo yet, but I will post it up on here, along with the photo of Will's new guitar, soon!
We then set back home. The final thing I wanted to show 'the lads' was how you could see the new wind farm that is getting put up near Camber Sands, from High Halden! So I took them to the church and we walked through the graveyard and out the back into the field, where the prime viewing spot was. I was fully aware of EXACTLY where to go because I had gone for a walk to see this amazing sight, by my self, on Monday.
We then came back home and Ed, Will and Moodie went home. I am now sat here in my lounge fairly bored, but its ok, because Ross is coming up here in a second with his x-box. YESSS! We are going to go to Tesco and buy a new game to play all night! I really really want him to get MX vs ATV because I played on a demo of it and it was awesome!
Thanks for reading!
